Invite one person
Go to People from the sidebar.
Find the person in the list. In the Invite column, click the envelope icon in their row.
In the "Invite to app" window, confirm the email address shown is where the invitation should be sent.
Under "Role", choose the access level they'll have once they accept — "Basic user" (selected by default) or "Admin".
Click "Send invitation".
Note: The envelope icon only appears for people who have an email address on file and haven't created a login yet. If you don't see it for someone, they likely already have a Freedom login.
Invite several people at once
Go to People from the sidebar.
Use the checkboxes on the left of each row to select the people you want to invite. The checkbox in the column header selects everyone on the current page.
In the action bar that appears at the bottom of the screen, click "Invite".
Note: Anyone you select who already has a login is skipped — after sending, Freedom shows how many invitations went out and how many were skipped. To set each person as an Admin or Basic user, use the Role column once they've accepted.
Change someone's access level
Go to People from the sidebar.
Find the person and look at the Role column, which shows their current access as an "Admin" or "Basic" badge.
Click the badge, then select "Admin" or "Basic" from the menu.
Read the confirmation message explaining what will change, then click "Confirm".
Note: Admins can manage payroll, people, and company settings. A Basic user keeps their own employee or contractor profile but can't manage company settings. You can't change your own access level, and the Role column shows a dash for anyone who hasn't accepted their invitation yet.
