When your company invites you to Freedom, you get an email with a link. The same steps work whether you're an employee, a contractor, or an admin.
Accept your invitation
Open the invitation email and click the link in it. Use the link, not the sign-in page, because the sign-in page can't create a new login.
Follow the prompts to create your login. If you already have a Freedom login, Freedom sends you to the sign-in page instead. Sign in with your existing login.
When Freedom asks you to secure your account, follow Set up two-step verification.
Freedom then opens your home page.
Note: If you already use Freedom and another company invites you, you don't need the email link. Open the account menu in the top right, then click "Accept" under "Invitation to" and the company's name.
Sign in later
Go to the sign-in page and sign in with the email address you used to create your login.
When Freedom asks for a code, enter a code from your authenticator app, a code sent to your phone, or one of your backup codes.
Forgot your password? See Reset your password. Problems with a code? See Troubleshoot two-step verification. The sign-in page has no sign-up option. To sign up a new company, see Sign up your company for Freedom.
Fix a problem with your invitation
"This invitation link is incomplete". The link was cut short when it was copied or forwarded. Open the link straight from your email, or ask your company to send a new invitation. You can also email [email protected].
"This invitation has expired or was canceled". Ask your company to send a new one.
"You're already signed in". You opened the link while you were signed in to Freedom. Click "Sign out and continue". Freedom signs you out and brings you back to the same invitation, so you don't need to open the email link again. Then create your login, or sign in if you already have one.
"We couldn't find an account with this email". No login exists for that email yet. Use the link in your invitation email. If you never got one, ask your company to send an invitation.
"[Company name] added you to Freedom" or "More than one company added you to Freedom". A company added you but hasn't sent you an invitation yet. Ask your company to send you one, then click "Check again".
"No organization assigned"
This page says "Your account is not assigned to an organization." In Freedom, an organization is a company, so it means your login isn't a member of any company yet. To fix it:
Open the account menu in the top right of the page.
If you see "Invitation to" and a company name, click "Accept". If a company is listed under "Companies", click it. Freedom opens that company.
If the menu shows neither, ask your company to send you an invitation, then open the link in the email. You can also email [email protected].
To use a different login, click "Sign out" on the page.
